Neon Cocoa

We are developing Meat Without Master which is a single player first-person action-roguelike where you are a failed lump of living flesh clawing your way out of the secretive biolab that discarded you.

Our game is currently in early stages of development, and we’re working on building our first public playable demo. Our Steam page has been live for over two months, and we’ve already gathered over 8,000 wishlists. The goal of the first demo is to collect early feedback and impressions from our fans.

We are a fairly experienced team, so we likely would have approached development in a similar way even without GameLAB. However, certain coaching sessions have provided us with valuable insights and perspectives on how to explore and develop our project. Especially on the design side, we’ve gained useful tools for conducting market analysis.

Orbital Bear

With a variety of skills in 3D modeling, texturing and animations, 2D, lighting, UI, AI programming, general programming, general game design, level design and team management skills we are making a fast-paced first-person speed-running game where players can flip their own gravity to any surface.

We all are super happy for the coaching session we have had and the lectures have been informative. We have gained a lot of insights on how to be a working team/company and the best things have been the 1 on 1 sessions with coaches. And what we think needs to be improved is how and what to share of our progress to all the coaches. mostly in what format.

Grimtek

Currently we are working on the (codename) “Dungeon Master”. Dungeon Master is a roguelike dice-builder. In this game you are forced to play Dungeon Master’s twisted tabletop game with miniatures and dice. Hopefully by playing by this cruel man’s rules, you are able to make your escape. We spent around 3 months prototyping two different projects and not too long ago we picked Dungeon Master as our main (and only) project. Now for the past week we’ve been building groundwork for designers, programmers, artists and producer, so the start of the development is as painless and straight-forward as possible.

During our prototyping phase we were using Godot. We acknowledged now is the perfect time to see if it could be our game engine of choice. But in the end, we picked Unity which we are way more familiar with. This change doesn’t slow us down though, since we would’ve started the development from the beginning either way.

Need More Bullets is a small group of like-minded developers who released their debut game Shattered Bride on June 2025 and are now working on their next title: Barrelmancers.

It’s a 3D isometric twin-stick co-op shooter set in a steampunk-fantasy world corrupted by eldritch forces.
Players become technowizards obsessed with the lost art of Barrelmancy, crafting volatile spell-barrels and unleashing them in chaotic, physics-driven combat.

Built around laughter, teamwork, and accidents, Barrelmancers thrives on unpredictable co-op moments where friendly fire and creative destruction are features, not bugs.

Our goal is to deliver a game that feels fast, accessible, and absurd, while hiding a rich lore and progression system beneath the slapstick mayhem.

We’re a Finnish indie game studio preparing to launch our first major title, Thalassophobia, on Steam. Our team consists of ambitious newcomers from Kajaani University, brought together by a shared passion for games and a great focus on multiplayer experiences that are also designed for market success. We aim to create titles that bring players together through cooperation, tension, and memorable moments.

Thalassophobia is a 4 player online co-op diving horror game. You and your team are tasked to dive and retrieve valuable objects from sunken vessels. Use your diving and scavenging equipment to clear out anything that tries to stop you from completing your mission.

We are a part of Game City Kajaani – accelerator program. We are a two–person indie team developing CAMPS. Viktoriia is responsible for marketing, PR, and accounting, Alexander is the game developer.
